The location is hard to reach without a shuttle!!! Consider upgrading the pool area as it seems neglected!!! WiFi access needs significant improvement as it barely reaches guest rooms!!!

I wasn’t ready for this!

Our stay exceeded expectations with a spacious room featuring traditional decor, a stunning onsen experience, and a delightful kaiseki dinner. The indoor and outdoor onsen were the highlight, especially amidst the chilly weather. Convenient luggage shipping made our journey smoother, and the breathtaking views from the dining area made breakfast worthwhile.

Had an amazing time with my friends! The onsen was perfect, and we loved exploring the nearby karaoke spots after a long day. Just remember to email the staff ahead for a taxi if you need to catch an early train. The outdoor onsen was a highlight!

The only downside was the steep walk from the bus stop. it was a bit tough with luggage. Also, the room could have been bigger for two people.

This place is just right for a short stay in Hakone with solid price value. The onsen experience was enjoyable and relaxing after a long day of exploring. Just keep in mind that the location can be tricky to find.

comfortable stay but a bit secluded

Our large Japanese-style family room was beautiful and comfortable, allowing for quality family time. The baths were outstanding. clean and relaxing with various pools to enjoy. I particularly appreciated the stellar view of the mountains, which added to the calming atmosphere.

The Japanese-Style Twin Room was cozy and provided a unique local experience. Dining was exceptional, particularly the nightly menu changes that kept our meals interesting. The outdoor onsen offered tranquility under the stars, enhancing the relaxing atmosphere. However, the path to the onsen could be more clearly marked for convenience, and the shuttle service can get crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly.

staying at hakonenomori okada was fantastic! the family room with tatami was really comfortable and clean. the hot springs were a highlight, especially the outdoor onsen with natural rocks. plus, it’s on a hill, which gives a lovely view and a peaceful atmosphere. service was pleasant too!

I enjoyed my stay in the cozy Family Room Tatami Area Private Bathroom, offering a unique blend of traditional comfort and modern amenities. The onsen experience was divine, especially soaking in the open-air bath surrounded by nature and breathing in the fresh mountain air. And let's not forget the breakfast buffet. It was a delicious spread that fueled my adventures throughout the day!

I had a lovely stay at Hakonenomori Okada. The onsen provided a soothing experience, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety. While the room felt a bit cramped, the warmth of the staff and the beautiful surroundings made my visit enjoyable.
